Funded Desk compares proprietary trading firms on the criteria that determine whether a trader is actually paid: payout policy, drawdown mechanics, the rules that void accounts, and the real cost of reaching funded status.
Why This Site Exists
Most prop firm comparison sites rank on commission. That is not a moral complaint, it is a structural observation: when the ranking and the revenue share the same driver, the ranking stops being information. We publish our weighting so a reader can check the order against the criteria, and disagree with it in a way that is specific rather than vague.
The weighting is set out in full on the methodology page. In short: payout policy carries 35 percent, trading rules 25 percent, cost of entry 20 percent, profit split 10 percent, transparency 5 percent and support 5 percent.
How We Are Funded
Every outbound link to a firm on this site is a commercial link. If you buy a challenge after clicking, we may be paid a commission by that firm, at no additional cost to you. This is the site’s only source of revenue.
We also have a direct commercial relationship with Meridian Funded, which appears first in our ranking. We state that plainly rather than burying it, and the reasoning for that placement is set out under our weighting on the methodology page, where it can be checked against the same criteria applied to every other firm.
What We Verify, and What We Cannot
Every figure in our tables comes from the firm’s own published material, checked on the date shown at the bottom of each page. Where a firm does not publish a figure clearly, we leave the cell blank rather than estimate.
What we cannot do is independently audit whether every withdrawal is honoured. Nobody outside a firm can. What we can weigh is the specificity of the commitment: a firm that publishes a processing time and attaches a penalty for missing it has accepted an obligation, and that is a materially stronger signal than a marketing claim.
Corrections
Prop firm terms change frequently, and a stale figure is actively harmful when someone is about to spend money. If you find a discrepancy between this site and a firm’s own terms, the firm’s terms are authoritative — and we would rather hear about it. Write to us via the contact page.
What This Site Is Not
We are not a broker, not a prop firm, and not a financial adviser. Nothing here is investment advice. Prop firms operate simulated trading environments; participation carries a risk of losing the evaluation fee, and any income figures quoted by any firm are typical of top performers rather than of participants generally.
